Dolly's Creek Street - Canvas Print
The original photos were shot in the rain in Ketchikan, Alaska. Note the water disturbances.
Evidence of the rain had to be removed in order to save the images.
Erasing the rain and adding a misty mountain background resulted in this 24x19 canvas of "Dolly's Creek Street" in Ketchican, Alaska.
Creek Street - 2 More Canvas Prints
This 48 x 24 canvas shows Creek Street from the opposite direction. It took hours of Photoshop work to remove the rain and brighten the background.
The same view was turned into a 59 x 21 canvas sized for use over a king size bed.
KETCHIKAN Totem Poles - Amazing !
It was humbling to see and photograph the many Totem Poles we encountered in Ketchikan.
Historic Raven Art , exhibited high on a wall in a small museum just on the edge of town, gave me an idea for a compilation of Totem Pole images.
For this artwork, I silhouetted heads and parts of the Totem Poles for use in a montage.
The result was this 24 x 39 canvas gallery wrapped print titled TOTEM HEADS.
A second project expanded the concept into this 40 x 40 gallery wrapped canvas
aptly entitled "TOTEM HEADS 40."
